Motion triggering is reliable, but getting it right is an iterative process of adjusting sensitivity and motion vs PIR depending on local conditions.A big missing feature is the ability to arm or disarm motion detection on all cameras simultaneously with a single button. However, I would not rely solely on this app as a baby monitor and thankfully the 2 inch screen receivers they supply with the cameras have been 100% for signal. The app comes in handy for the odd 10 minutes when we are in the kitchen but the receivers are in the other room.It would be great if the iPad app would open in landscape mode automatically in a future update, it is frustrating having the close down the app and reload it in order for the orientation to correct itself! Initially the camera and the app worked well for a month or so but then I started getting false motion detection alerts, at one point they were popping up every minute.

I managed to switch of the notifications but this then makes the app useless so I have switched them back on after the update over a week ago but now the camera shows offline the majority of the time and on the few occasions it has been connected I haven’t received any alerts.Overall I’m very dissatisfied with the smart technology and regret spending the extra money it cost me as I have in effect got a normal baby monitor.
