Used SS add camera search function to find network attached cameras. I noted that the IP addresses of my Swann cameras were not on the same subnet as my LAN, eg 172.16.1.xxx vs 192.168.1.xxx. (There are two tabs on the search page, one for supported cameras and one for generic (ONVIF), you will probably find Swann cameras on the generic tab.).
