We are sorry to know that you are having issues with the driver for your CTH-470. Unfortunately, this model is not supported on Mac OS X 10.15 Catalina, since it is a previous Wacom model, from a few years ago.

The last driver for it is compatible up to Mac OS X 10.12 Sierra. In this case, you could use the tablet on a computer with an older operating system version or downgrade your computer's operating system version to a compatible one.You can also check the current pen tablets available at the eStore, in case that you would rather to make a device upgrade:.Sorry for any inconvenience. Please let us know if there is something else that we could help you with.-ET.

Hi there,I have just switched into Manjaro from Windows and I’m having trouble getting my Wacom Bamboo CTH-301 working. It’s an older model, and I can’t find any topics specifically about it. I’ve tried a number of solutions including Kernel updates, changing settings in the GUI, and installing the xf86-input-wacom drivers. The tablet itself is being detected properly, but does not work in any fashion. It partially worked (the cursor would freeze when applying pressure or trying to click) when it was first plugged in, but after turning the computer off, disconnecting it, and then reconnecting it when running, the pad stopped working entirely, though it was still being detected normally. Unfortunately, none of the options you posted seem to work.

I am on Kernel 4.17.9. However, disabling the touchpad did have an effect: the pad now functions as it originally did, detecting movement but freezing with pressure or while trying to click. In the drawing program, Krita, the Tablet Tester registers when the stylus is near or away from the tablet, but does not register anything else. Pressing or clicking so that the cursor freezes does not change the status of the tablet in Krita.I highly doubt this next bit of information is necessary, but here’s the output from the Tablet Tester in Krita.

The stylus is brought near, pressed onto the pad, clicked, then taken away from the pad. It seems only the proximity of the stylus registers.
